Sustainability Training Manager – Salary circa £50,000 DOE

A bit about the job:

This role will partner with the different Business Units and Functions across Aviva to own and drive Sustainability capability development across all employees.  The role will also co-ordinate Sustainability training for the Board and Senior Leaders in the business and support sustainability capability development across functional and role specific learning, working closely with the Learning Team and People Function. ​

In this role, you will facilitate and coordinate the delivery of targeted training initiatives by connecting business units and functions with the right Group teams and resources. You’ll provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure these initiatives are successfully executed.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress and outcomes of sustainability training and education events. Capturing and sharing key learnings and insights across the organisation will be a vital part of your work, helping to embed knowledge and inspire continuous improvement.

As a champion of sustainability, you will advocate for a culture that embraces sustainable thinking and behaviours. By showcasing success stories, best practices, and tools developed by the Group Sustainability team, and by organising and participating in Sustainability Solutions training events and activities, you will help foster a mindset of innovation and responsibility throughout the business.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Learning and development – experience of designing and facilitating trainings as part of a larger organisation.

  • Well-versed in environmental sustainability – with the experience of delivering training content at all levels.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor the message and style to different audiences and contexts.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams at senior levels across the organisation.

  • Creative and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify, scope and prioritise opportunities that are aligned with the business and customer needs.

  • Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
