Test Manager
Responsible and accountable for all Quality Engineering activities for large scale transformational programmes.
Responsibilities would include, but will not be limited to:
- Definition of Programme Test Strategy
- Definition of delivery schedule and key milestones, backed by quantitive estimation models
- Managing key testing deliverables v/s agreed milestones through the test delivery life cycle
- Leading & managing the programme QE Resources (mix of perm and service providers) across the agile teams / work streams.
- Driving adherence to productivity and service quality targets
- Articulation and communication of testing progress and service quality to programme steering group(s)
- Building teams, potential future leaders and driving a high-performance culture amongst the test delivery teams
- Working closely with quality architects to drive innovation into all aspects of test delivery lifecycle and adherence to Aviva’s QE framework
- Making sure all internal audit processes pass right first time
- Encouraging a culture of collaboration between all programme teams, and leading from the front on all quality engineering aspects in the programme forums
Experience with Guidewire Cloud and/or alternative cloud platforms
Insurance industry background – ideally within General insurance
