UX Designer

We’re looking for an ambitious and hardworking individual to join our Digital design team in Dublin or Galway. This is a permanent position where you will support the day-to-day team activities, including conducting research, gaining insights to advise the design process, ensuring design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an existing career in UI/UX design, who is seeking a role where they can support the team in delivering key projects on Life platforms, CET transformation and General Insurance. You will be responsible for collaborating with developers and partners to ensure successful implementation of designs, communicate with suppliers and all associated administrative work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback for iterative design improvements, administrative support and respond to queries using established processes and procedures.

  • Assist with creating designs for key digital assets and experiences with the ability to identify and raise more complex issues.

  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team, while undertaking relevant training and participating in various projects and initiatives.

  • Support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables, avoid causing foreseeable harm which will enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the drive to deliver key projects

  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign), with additional familiarity in Lookback, PowerPoint, and Premiere (considered a plus).

  • Experience with design systems and maintaining UI consistency while crafting seamless user journeys, collaborating, and working alongside key partners in an agile environment

  • Up to date knowledge in emerging design trends and technologies and a passion for improving digital experience in a fast-paced customer focused environment.

  • Knowledge of Customer Experience principles in regulated industries and the strive to conduct user research, usability testing and data analysis to inform design decisions with the scope to translate sophisticated processes into simple user-friendly interfaces
