Location: York or London based (50% hybrid working)
Salary: circa £130,000

A bit about the job:
Our market leading Wealth business is growing rapidly, and this role exists to keep our financial reporting accurate, timely and trusted as we grow. You’ll lead reporting and controls across several Wealth legal entities, supporting better decision‑making and strong governance. You’ll guide capital and liquidity planning to support sustainable, long‑term business performance. You’ll also lead our Policyholder Tax team, working closely with the business to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. Overall, you’ll play a central role in shaping how Finance partner with the business through delivery of results, managing financial stability and planning for growth.
Please note that if London based, weekly travel will be required for this role to our York office (expensed by Aviva).
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong knowledge of Wealth and regulatory requirements, with a solid understanding of the retail investments industry.
Deep technical accounting expertise and strong financial management capability.
Skilled at communicating complex topics clearly to support effective decision‑making.
Experienced people leader with a track record of delivering change across finance and cross‑functional teams.
Confident presenting to Boards and executive committees, with strong stakeholder influence skills.

- Salary circa £130,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
