Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

A bit about the job:
You’ll lead our Finance IT Systems team and guide how our key platforms develop to support Aviva’s Finance community. Your work will help us produce accurate financial data, strengthen reporting and meet regulatory expectations. You’ll join a team that partners closely with colleagues across Finance and Technology to keep our systems running smoothly.
You’ll oversee improvements, governance and integration work that help us stay compliant and effective. You’ll also be accountable for system performance, people leadership and delivering changes that support our wider strategy.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience leading teams that manage finance systems, both bespoke and market leading, such as Oracle and similar platforms'
- Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and governance ensuring platforms remain compliant with audit, SOX, regulatory and data‑quality expectations.
- Proven experience delivering system change, including requirements gathering, testing, documentation and release management.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language for finance and non‑technical audiences.
- Confident stakeholder engagement, with experience partnering with vendors, technology colleagues and cross‑functional teams.

- Starting salary £65,000 - £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
