Workflow and Automations Business Expert
We’re looking for someone who cares about making things better—for our customers and our colleagues, as a Workflow and Automations Business Expert on a Fixed Term Contract running until December 2026. You’ll work closely with our Customer Experience (CE) and Continuous Improvement teams to find better ways of working and spot where we can save time and reduce errors. Your ideas will help us improve how we support our customers and each other. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values fresh thinking, simplicity, and doing the right thing.
This role is all about shaping how we work—both now and into the future. You’ll be supported every step of the way with structured training in how we manage and improve our processes, including Business Process Management (BPM) concepts, BPM Notation, and how to use our workflow platform, Fineos Service Monitor.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Run workshops and speak with teams to understand how things are done today and where we can improve for the future
- Help create clear, easy-to-follow BPMN diagrams and documentation to support change
- Represent Operations in team meetings, sharing what matters most and helping set priorities
- Work with others to design better ways of working and support the build of new solutions
- Help teams learn new tools and ways of working by creating guides and delivering training
Skills & Experiences:
- Experience in insurance or financial services is essential, with a good understanding of how teams work
- Skilled in process mapping, workflow design, or business analysis with familiarity in BPMN and agile ways of working
- Comfortable leading conversations and workshops to gather ideas and feedback
- A technical ability, eagerness and interest in improving how things are done
- A team player who enjoys working with different people and departments
- A passion for making things easier and better for customers and colleagues
