Actuarial Trainee
We're looking for a curious, analytical and ambitious Actuarial Trainee to join our Actuarial Operational Services (AOS) team at Aviva Life & Pensions in Dublin.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical actuarial support to internal teams, investigating queries relating to Life & Pensions products, policy values and customer outcomes.
Analyse policy data and resolve operational issues, ensuring accurate outcomes for customers and helping prevent issues from recurring.
Support the testing and implementation of system, product and process changes, helping to maintain the accuracy of customer records and calculations.
Contribute to the assessment of legislative and regulatory changes, supporting the business in understanding and implementing required updates.
Support product reviews and business projects by analysing product specifications, policy data and operational processes to ensure products continue to perform as intended.
Skills & Experiences:
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline, or relevant actuarial experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex issues and interpret detailed data.
Strong Excel skills, with experience or an interest in coding using tools such as Python, SQL or VBA.
Experience gained through a placement, internship or previous role within life insurance, pensions or reinsurance would be beneficial.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €36,000 and 41,000 and salary offered will commensurate with candidate's level of skills and experience.
