A bit about the job:            

The team is made up of a broad spectrum of people; some have been with the company for over 30 years whilst others have just finished education. It focuses on problem solving, using data to identify improvements and getting involved in innovative pricing models. We use data science driven analytics to give customers a price and product they are satisfied with while also enabling Aviva to be profitable and grow. This role is in the Personal Lines Broker Pricing Team which looks after the pricing and underwriting for our Broker personal lines (home, motor and travel) insurance products in the UK. 

You will be responsible for analysing and tracking the performance of the products you’re working on, investigating errors and issues and suggesting improvements. You will also work closely with colleagues from across the business and share your ideas to identify the right opportunities to achieve profitable growth and deliver good outcomes for customers. The tools you will use include Microsoft Office, Excel, Radar, Earnix and SQL, for which training and support will be provided.”

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Prior experience of data analysis (either from education or previous roles)
• Strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver
• A quick learner, with strong attention to detail and working accuracy
• Highly numerate, good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle and prioritise given workload with business objectives
