Digital/Schemes Lead Product Owner

Salary: circa £80,000 depending on location, skills, and experience
 

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to lead the development of digital and scheme products for the SME market. If you thrive on driving change, improving customer experiences, and managing a high-impact portfolio, this role will give you the platform to make a real difference.

A bit about the job:

As Lead Product Owner, you’ll be at the heart of Aviva’s SME digital and scheme transformation. You’ll own the product specifications that shape our digital capabilities – from risk acceptance rules to customer-facing question sets. Your decisions will directly influence how we serve our customers, manage underwriting risk, and drive product performance across our digital and scheme portfolio. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll lead change across systems, processes, and teams, ensuring our digital and scheme products stay competitive, compliant, and customer-focused.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • A background in product ownership, digital delivery, or commercial underwriting
  • A track record of delivering change and continuous improvement
  • Great stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset to understand what matters to our customers and brokers to develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Strong leadership experience – you know how to coach, guide, and grow a team
