Health Portfolio Manager
We’re looking for a Health Portfolio Manager to lead pricing, reserving, and financial activities across our health insurance business. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy and making sure we meet regulatory requirements. This role sits within a collaborative team that’s integrating health insurance into Aviva Ireland’s broader offering. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Finance, Risk, and Reserving to deliver insights and drive performance. Your work will help us better serve our customers and grow our presence in the health insurance market. This opportunity is open to all Aviva locations in the Republic of Ireland.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and review pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Lead regulatory reporting to the Health Insurance Authority (HIA), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Align pricing with financial goals and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with Reserving to ensure consistency in assumptions and methodologies.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and external stakeholders.
Skills & Experiences
- Qualified actuary (FIA, FSAI) with a degree in a relevant field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in pricing, reserving, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Ireland’s health insurance market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
