We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Personal Lines reserving team—where you’ll play a key role in setting robust best estimate reserves and delivering insights that shape business decisions.
A bit about the job:
The role will involve undertaking actuarial analysis as part of the quarterly reserve cycle to meet regulatory requirements to set best estimate reserves. Through this work, as well as ad hoc analysis, a strong emphasis is placed on providing insight to support business decisions.
The role will require taking a leading role on carrying out actuarial analysis and being able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business. There will be an opportunity to help coach more junior members and contribute to the wider actuarial team.
You will also play a key role in the ambitious Finance change agenda by providing actuarial expertise and support to a range of projects, including the integration of DLG and the ongoing enhancement of our reserving tools and processes.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Reserving experience.
Proven track record of delivering high quality analysis to a fixed deadline.
Strong communication skills with experience of presenting complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
A proactive mindset and a natural curiosity to explore the detail, while maintaining a focus on those areas that matter most.
Previous stakeholder engagement both internal and external
