Pricing Associate – 12-month secondment

Salary: up to £30,000

This is a great job for someone who is curious, highly analytical, and looking to gain experience in a commercially focused pricing role within the Individual Annuity (IA) market. A bit about the job:

Aviva is one of the leading providers in the UK Individual Annuity market, and we aim to grow our business while improving competitiveness and profitability. You’ll join our dynamic pricing team, which is planning significant development of its capabilities over the next 12 months.

In this role, you’ll support actuarial pricing for our individual annuity product suite, working on data analysis, updating assumptions, running models, and preparing insights for senior stakeholders. Your work will directly influence trading decisions and customer outcomes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Highly numerate and analytical, with proven ability to interpret data and develop solutions

• Competent user of MS Excel

• Ability to manage a varied workload under time pressure

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders

• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn all aspects of the annuity business

• Starting salary up to £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
