Product Monitoring Data Analyst
Are you a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for coding and strong analytical skills? Aviva Life & Pensions is looking for a Product Monitoring Data Analyst to join our Actuarial Operations team. In this role, you'll proactively review our product range, business processes, and supporting system infrastructure to ensure brilliant customer outcomes. You'll support various business projects and develop a deep understanding of our Life and Pensions products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse technical product requirements, business processes, and system infrastructure using actuarial and data analysis skills.
- Support customer-facing teams by explaining complex topics clearly and accurately.
- Develop and apply coding skills (SQL, VBA, etc.) to extract, manipulate, and analyse data.
- Investigate customer-impacting errors, perform root cause analysis, and enhance our control environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various actuarial and business projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related field, with some work experience in Life Insurance.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain results to non-technical teams.
- Proficient in IT, especially Excel; interest in coding (SQL, VBA, etc.) preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to meeting SLAs and delivering quality work.
