Risk Pricing Specialist- Commercial Lines

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our Commercial Pricing Team as a Risk Pricing Actuary. This role is crucial in maintaining our position as a market leader in insurance pricing. You will be responsible for building, delivering, and continually improving market-leading technical pricing models to generate profitable growth and customer value for Aviva Ireland's Commercial insurance business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Use advanced statistical models to predict the current and future performance of our Commercial Lines Business. 

• Evaluate and identify opportunities to enhance our technical pricing risk models. 

• Ensure fair treatment of customers and effective risk management. 

• Collaborate with various teams (Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Actuarial) to implement changes that drive profitable growth. 

• Contribute to the development of our people and technical capabilities. 

Skills & Experience: 

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Maths, Statistics, or related fields. 

• Strong technical skills in pricing and predictive analytics. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex methodologies to non-technical stakeholders. 

• Ability to blend expert-based insights with data-based insights and evaluate different methods and models. 

• Proficiency in tools such as Emblem, SQL, Python, and R. 

• Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques is desirable.
