Reporting Actuary
We are looking for a talented Newly or almost qualified Reporting Actuary to join our team. While an element of your role will involve producing timely and accurate reporting, you will also engage in various other actuarial duties. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to projects that span across different areas of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analysis: Produce timely and accurate Group and Local IFRS reporting, including analysis and explanation of sources of change in IFRS and Solvency II (SII) metrics, while liaising with senior management.
Actuarial Investigations: Participate in actuarial investigations and assumption analysis throughout the year, contributing to ongoing and ad-hoc projects as opportunities arise.
Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, including alignment with Aviva’s Financial Reporting Control Framework (FRCF).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Planning, Pricing, Finance Control, External Audit, and Group functions.
Broader Actuarial Support: Contribute to a variety of actuarial tasks including risk management, planning and analysis, product and pricing support, and capital management.
Skills & Experiences:
Reporting experience in an actuarial function, ideally within insurance or financial services.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Proficiency in financial reporting and risk management.
