A bit about the job: 

You’ll be at the heart of our major transformation programmes, leading all Quality Engineering activity across multiple agile teams.  

Your work will help us deliver with confidence — setting the programme test strategy, shaping delivery plans, and making sure milestones land when they should.  

You’ll lead a blended team of permanent and partner resources, build strong relationships across the programme, and champion a high performance, collaborative culture. Performance, collaborative culture. 

You’ll also work hand in hand with our Quality Architects to bring fresh thinking into how we design, plan and deliver testing — helping us innovate while staying aligned to Aviva’s QE Framework. Skills and experience we’re looking for

• Strong experience defining and delivering programme level test strategies across large, multiteam environments level test strategies across large, multiteam environments 

• Proven ability to manage test delivery against complex milestones and schedules 

• A track record of leading and developing high performing test teams (including partners/suppliers) performing test teams (including partners/suppliers) 

• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and articulate quality, risk and progress clearly 

• Experience embedding quality engineering frameworks, innovation, and continuous improvement into test delivery
