Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland is looking for an ambitious and talented individual to join the Project Management Office (PMO) which sits within the Transformation team based in Dublin.  We are interested in hearing from you if are keen to progress your career in the Transformation area and have what it takes to support a portfolio of key strategic and risk / regulatory programmes.

You will work directly with the Head of Transformation, with responsibility for delivery oversight and support for the portfolio of change programmes.  While the scope of your role will include all elements of change delivery, your primary focus will be on cost management and benefit delivery of the portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and overseeing the programmes, as well as taking action as required, to ensure benefit delivery, both financial and non-financial, is set up for success across the portfolio including tracking to monitor delivery in line with those defined benefits in the business case.
  • Cost centre owner for all Transformation cost centres and partnering (oversight and challenge) with the programmes within the Transformation portfolio to ensure accuracy of the cost centre.
  • Working with the other Senior PMO Analyst to share the priorities across other areas of portfolio management including risk & Issues, dependencies and resources.
  • Collating a portfolio level view of benefits, and costs, as well as for resources, risks & issues, as the need arises, to support the reporting to the Transformation Committee, Executive Committees, and Group Transformation Office, as relevant.
  • People management of up to 3 people depending on the need within the team.
  • Ownership of controls mitigating the change delivery failure risk, as required, including regular testing and consideration.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a Transformation / Change function overseeing large, complex portfolio of change.
  • Proven ability to understand and track benefits and costs and present insightful analysis of the same.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders through business partnering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience in presenting to senior management and the creation of senior management reports, through PowerPoint, where attention to detail is key.
  • Appetite to understand how to define and manage risks, issues and interdependencies as they relate to projects.
  • Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
