Transformation Delivery Lead – Strategic Virtual Assistant Programme

Salary c. £75,000 to c. £85,000

A bit about the job:

You will be responsible for the overall programme management of Aviva’s Strategic Virtual Assistant programme, ensuring the successful orchestration and execution of initiatives across business, digital, data, and operational workstreams. You’ll operate in a multi‑party environment that includes Aviva teams, third‑party partners, Group CIO, and specialist domains such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Architecture.
This role requires strong programme leadership, structured planning, senior stakeholder management, and deep knowledge of Aviva’s Change Framework and governance processes.
You’ll lead and guide the creation and refinement of the Virtual Assistant scope, roadmap, design principles, and value framework—ensuring alignment across Aviva’s Digital, Technology, and Operational areas, as well as with third‑party implementation partners. You’ll also work with Risk, Compliance, and Data Governance to embed enhanced frameworks that ensure safe GenAI/VA delivery.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Proven success leading complex digital, AI, or technology‑integration programmes in large organisations

  • Strong knowledge of Aviva’s Change Delivery Framework and governance processes

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders

  • Experience working within multi‑partner delivery environments, including third‑party vendors

  • Strong stakeholder‑management skills, with the confidence to challenge and drive decisions

  • Starting salary between c. £75,000 and c. £85,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
