Transformation Delivery Manager
Transformation Delivery Manager – Strategic Virtual Assistant Programme
Salary c. £55,000 to c. £70,000
Do you love driving impactful transformation across strategic initiatives?
Are you passionate about enhancing customer experience and engagement to build long‑term relationships and help deliver our OneAviva ambitions?
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in complex change environments and is committed to enabling successful programme delivery with the customer always at the heart of what we do. It would suit someone with strong delivery expertise across both technical and business change, strong commercial acumen, and a solid grounding in data, digital, and marketing.
A bit about the job:
You’ll be part of the programme delivery team for Aviva’s Strategic Virtual Assistant programme, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives across business, digital, data, and operational workstreams. You’ll work within a multiparty environment comprising Aviva teams, third‑party partners, and Group CIO functions.
You will lead project management activity for the Delivery Squad, working closely with our third‑party delivery partner. You’ll oversee project and workstream ceremonies, providing clarity of decisions, actions, risks, and accountabilities. A key part of the role is communicating complex technical and project concepts clearly to senior sponsors and non‑technical stakeholders—enabling constructive challenge and timely decision‑making to maintain strong delivery momentum.
Your responsibilities will include all core elements of strong project management: developing and maintaining robust project plans, managing readiness across multiple releases, overseeing project financials, maintaining governance aligned to Aviva’s Change Framework, and embedding a strong culture of risk management.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience leading complex, high‑impact, high‑visibility projects
Deep knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complexity into clear and actionable messages
Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and build strong stakeholder relationships across multiple organisations
Experience working with third‑party vendors and managing multi‑partner delivery environments
